BARQUE BLEUE

We came here on our first day in Nice and had a lunch (Chicken ceaser and fries to share, as well as a couple of drinks) the food was nice and fresh and staff were really helpful and friendly. We then came back another night for dinner and were delighted to receive the same quality of serve from a different member of staff. This time around we had the mussels and seafood linguine. Again the food was amazing and being lactose intolerant the staff were very helpful and happy to accommodate us / recommend suitable dishes. We dined both inside and out and enjoyed them equally with a nice atmosphere to restaurant away from the main busy tourist area. My partner was also impressed with the facilities being nice and clean. Would come again and recommend a visit while in Nice.

Located right by the quay in Nice, La Barque Bleue offers a unique dining ambience. The food was decent; it didn’t blow us away, but we all enjoyed our meals. We were a large group of 7 adults and an infant, and I appreciate that they provided a high chair for the baby. The lady who took our order was incredibly warm and welcoming. In contrast, the gentleman who brought our food could’ve been friendlier. It’s possible that the language barrier made him uncomfortable, as our group mainly communicated in English (we only speak English and German). For all 7 adults, our dinner totalled €255, which I found reasonable given the location and the food quality. Overall, it’s a good spot for group dining in Nice, but a bit more consistency in the friendliness of the service would elevate the experience.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. The food was fantastic. The pork tenderloin and accompanying sauce was cooked to perfection. There were even some vegetables on the plate which is rare for meat dishes in Nice. I am told that the seafood tagliatelle was one of the best ever. And the desserts were well worth leaving room for. The staff were helpful and smiling which makes an enormous difference. The views across the port help to make this a great experience. This place is towards the top of my revisit list for next time.

Nice located near the harbor. The price is bit expensive. Recommend the fish mans pot. Other dishes are ok. The whole grilled sea bass was below the expectation. Many tourist groups eat there. The owner is not very generous. Not somewhere I would recommend.

Wonderful experience here. Highly recommend. Our server was Maureen, she was so hospitable, and an excellent server, very attentive. We came by recommendation of the muscles in wine and butter, and we were not disappointed. Also to be able to sit outside and watch the beautiful pier was a plus. The owner also came out to say hello and make sure we were happy. The whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend.
