Where to begin? The strong fishy smell when we walked in was the first red flag. The goat cheese samosas that contained little or no cheese and had bad lettuce for the accompanied salad was the second red flag. Although to be fair when we complained about the samosas, they gave me a second plate that was better. The final low point of our meal was when my husband and I ordered the same main course and they came out looking inconsistent in quality. His fish was cold in spots and not fully cooked. My pesto pasta had vegetables mixed in and far too much pesto. His pasta had no vegetables at all and a more reasonable amount of pesto. Both dishes were terribly bland and required salt, which is something we rarely need to do. On a positive note, the white wine was delicious and lunch only cost 14 euros each, plus wine. Still, it was a huge disappointment!

Simply a marvelous restaurant! The food is incredibly tasty, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect!

Loved the building , the service was fantastic but the food was a big let down. My partner had beef bourgignon, which was tough and required some effort to cut, as well as being overly salty. The spinach ravioli was ok, but had no flavour. A little disappointing tbh

Not many places to eat on a Sunday night in Bayeux so we tried this place. Do not recommend. The beef bourgeon was good, but the spaghetti had no flavor. The bread was not good. They were completely out of pizza and several house wines.

We were extremely disappointed with the service and the food. The pasta dishes were so tiny and wouldn't feed a sparrow.We complained about it and got a discount but it was still expensive for what we received. The owner was not bothered and just wanted to get rid of us. We told him that the dishes were so small like baby sized meals.DISGUSTING SERVICE AND A BAD ATTITUDE!
