Don't let the cuteness fool you, the manager here is extremely rude.
My wife and I went in to see the place for future dinner, and to maybe have a glass of wine.
The waiter pushed for us to stay and order pizza, even after we told him our intention... I understand, they needed the business.
It was so cute we decided to have a glass of wine and check the vibe...
We decided to taste 2, a Bordeaux for me, and an Italian one for my wife.
I went to the bar to ask the waiter, he immediately went in the back and got the manager.
He came out and acted joyful... "Oh, you want to try some wine?"
He's French but spoke a bit of English, I don't speak French, so cool.
He seemed okay for a few seconds, but then he was getting annoyed and picking up different bottles, and just making the whole thing confusing. He recommended an Italian option as better, while being very annoyed.
I let it go and tried what I thought was the Bordeaux... When I asked which one it was he got even more annoyed - It was the Italian one he suggested. He started saying it was an awful big hassle for 2 glasses of wine. I was in a great mood, by the way.
I got my Bordeaux taste and decided to get it.
He poured me a 25cl, okay, one down!
But then he got mad cuz I wanted to let my wife have a taste of MY Bordeaux in case she just wanted that. It was now painful and just ridiculous... but my wife, who's French, walked up to the bar to have her taste.
He was annoyed and extremely rude, saying in French what a big problem everything was and that 'She shouldn't have wine anyway because she's pregnant!'
She didn't tell me this for a minute because she was shocked. When she did, I immediately said, "What?? You can't say that to her, we're out of here." We left.
For the record - Her glass was for a few celebratory sips, which I would finish - Obviously not anyone's business, and especially not this horrible managers place to say.
