IF YOU WANT A GOOD PIZZA WITH GREAT SERVICE: do NOT go there!
When I saw that a pizza shop was opening my small town, I was quite excited due to the limited number of options available when it comes to going out for dinner in Meudon.
However, after visiting Pizzeria Dudi a few times, I can now reliably express my unfortunate disappointment.
First, I have to report the worst: the deplorable service. It takes an unusual amount of time for the pizzas to be ready, up to an hour on some unlucky days. In fact you'd better ask for take out, because your order will become a priority, even over clients who have been here for thirty minutes!
A "few" other things to note: the waiter is very unprofessional, not to say blatantly rude and abusive; you are regularly blamed for their misunderstanding of your order, and they constantly try to raise their prices for even the smallest things, hoping you won't notice it was cheaper before.
The chef is very nice but his kindness is quickly overshadowed by his wife's obstrusive attitude.
Hygiene wise, the restaurant owners do not seem to mind letting their alcoholic friend claim four spots right in the middle of the restaurant and serving him free drinks while he stares at the clients and makes them uncomfortable. The waiter will gladly discuss with him in their own foreign language, sometimes seemingly gossiping about the crowd.
Now, in a perfect world maybe all of the things mentioned above could simply be qualified as "tiny slip ups" if the meal quality were to make up for them... Needless to say it is far from being the case. As the cherry on top, the place makes very bland pizzas, somehow dry and oily at the same time. Prices are constantly rising while the quality slowly decreases.
Obviously they do not want you in their restaurant - a bit awkward when even the food is hard to swallow.
