Fantastic food all around. Seafood, Steak and Chevre salad were all fantastic. Service was very friendly, would definitely come again!

A beautiful restaurant on the outskirts of Quillan which more than competes with the other, often longer established restaurants in the village. Of the three places we ate out in the evening in the village this was likely the best food and ambiance, albeit both are subjective. The menu has more French influence than many of the other places, which seem mostly (and bizarrely- given proximity to Spain and being in France) to be Italian in style. Beautifully cooked meat dishes are accompanied by a seasonal medley of vegetables. The butchers board is highly recommended, if you spot it on the specials board. The service was friendly, prompt but not intrusive. The wine was served at appropriate temperatures (as one might hope in France) and the desserts did not disappoint. Competitive on price relative to other local places but I felt the overall quality of the food was slightly more.

This brasserie has been open since June 2022 and has very extended opening hours. Plenty of outdoor seating under trees or shaded by umbrellas. The offer is quite wide, from salad to grilled food to pizza.
Wednesday is pizza day, so unfortunately we haven't been able to try the grilled meat (yet). The pizzas are made with love, the crust is thin and crispy, the topping is generous. You are guaranteed to get full. However, a little less cheese would be better, because then the actual attractions on the pizza would be visible and their taste would also come out more clearly.
The service is quick, although the pizzas may take a little longer in the oven. The location right on the street is already noticeable. But that doesn't affect the overall impression and we are delighted that young people have brought this shop to life and run it with a lot of heart.
