PIZZA PORCHEFONTAINE

Great Pizza, located walking distance to a Camping site. We saw the recommendations and walked to the location, but arrived 30 minutes before they opened. However, one of the cooks was outside and asked if we had reservations. We said we didn’t, he then told use to comeback in 30 minutes and he would reserve a table for us. When we returned we got a table for three, within 30 minutes the place was full. There was also a steady flow of customers coming in to pick up pizzas they had ordered telephonically. We did not have to wait long for our pizzas, the whole time we were there we could pizzas going into the oven every 4-5 minutes and the telephone going consistently with called ordering pizzas to-go. The pizza were great. The next evening we decided to pick up some pizza and bring them to cabin at the camping site. Knowing how busy they were, we arrived promptly at 1900 (opening time) and asked how long we would have to wait if we order pizzas. He showed us about 15 slips of papers with pizza that had been preordered. We place our order and sat at a table and drank a couple of beer as we waited to our to-go pizzas. While waiting a steady stream of customers came into pick-pu there orders. We could see that stack of up to 16 pizzas waiting for pickup sitting of top of the oven to keep warm. The staff was great, two cooks and to waitress on duty. Very friendly and we could convers as we watched them work. Great place, highly recommend.

Great pizza but are you ever open? I swear every time I check, no matter the day or the time, it always says that you’re closed. When must we eat? In the 1 hour per day that you’re actually open we happen to be at work. If you’re going to make such nice pizza, please open longer hours so we can actually eat it.

The best pizza place in Versailles!! Very tasty food and excellent, friendly service. We arrived at 22:00, the kitchen was closing and all tables were full. The staff took pity on us and agreed to rustle up 4 takeaway pizzas for my family after a long and tiring day of site seeing in Paris. Will definitely come back to Pizza Porchefontaine.

Very nice small pizza place. It was very busy but we had great service from the nice staff. The food was delicious.

This humble restaurant was amazing! The variety of pizzas is dizzying and with several other members in my party we ordered four different pies for variety. All were great but I especially loved the Corsican which is like nothing I ever sampled. The waitstaff were friendly and very attentive. And of course the owner, who does all the pie-making, was wonderful. He made us feel like we were invited into his home. Excellent experience and I highly recommend it.
