With 20 years at this same location, Piccola Calabria has an amazing reputation and outstanding service, and the food is 100% Italian! The owners were extremely welcoming, kind, and super sweet and accommodating. They recommended a great bottle of wine to pair with our meals of a mushroom truffle pizza and bolognese - both recommended by the owner. Needless to say we left with huge smiles on our faces. With the overall service and quality of food, its probably the best Italian food in all of Paris! This cozy neighborhood spot is a must if you're in the area.

...we were 4 guys at a table and after 3 of us finished..the owner, the old man..wave at us and said to go :))). how can you do that ??? how silly that is. I repeat, one of us was still eating ! so much lack of manners ..

While this place is hidden away in a small little back ally of Malakoff, it is an absolute gem. While working in Paris for a few months, I frequented this restaurant at least twice a week. Even though Mama cannot understand a word of English, and I do not understand a word of Italian, she always prepared the most amazing pizza and pastas imaginable. Francesco is always welcoming and charming. The food is uncomplicated and traditional, yet it has so much depth.
I have fond memories of this place which I will cherish forever. If you are in the area, it is a must!
