EVE AU PARADIS VEGAN

I ordered a burger and fries and my partner ordered a flammenkuche with mushrooms. We had to wait a lot for those dishes to come. The flammenkuchen was delicious but the burger with fries was not worth 20.50 euros because it didn't really taste that good and the portion of the fries was very little. Mulhouse and France as a whole is not very vegan friendly like the rest of Europe because there's barely vegan options and if you can find them they are very expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan restaurant in Alsace, where vegan options are usually scarce (if non-existent). The restaurant is cute, the owner is very kind and has a lovely attitude towards the customers. The restaurant is also dog-friendly! Unfortunately, as other reviews mention, the waiting times to get food on the table are very long - about 1 hour to get a tarte flambe. The menu doesn't offer many options (some entrèe, a few tarte flambe options, one pizza and one burger) and prices are really high for what you get. Tarte flambe with mushrooms was 18 euros.

They say they are open until 2:00pm... but they refused us when we came at 1:30pm. Difficult service. We drove specially for their place from 2hrs away! EDIT: Thanks for your answer. Please update your opening hours to 1:30pm, accordingly. Thanks!

Very nice and cozy restaurant. I loved the food, it was delicious and service is perfect ??

We drove there the second time (the first time they were in holidays and didn't update their opening hours on Google Maps) just to eat something vegan, as there aren't a lot of options in the area. We didn't get to try out anything, because we were greeted right from the start with a plain "we are full!", no apologies or any chance for reply. As we were heading out, we noticed a couple of people leaving, so we stuck around for some more minutes, to ask if a table has cleared, but after being ignored for some minutes, we left with a big disappointment that we couldn't grab anything from here. There is no mention anywhere that you have to book in advance, so we didn't consider it to be necessary. It seemed to us like they didn't care anymore for potential customers, as long as the place was full in that particular day. However, after leaving disappointed for the second time, we found another restaurant where the staff was so nice as to adapt us some vegetarian dishes into vegan ones. Eve Au Paradis Vegan will surely be a "no go!" next time we are in Mulhouse.
