My favourite restaurant in France ! Pizza is absolutely amazing and looks it too & fresh pasta that is definitely worth trying. The desserts were worth the money and looked amazing I am very impressed, cute decor inside and there’s a wine cave where you can buy red wine. Perfect location for lunch or dinner and great atmosphere. Also to note quick service even in busy times !

Tiramisu was splendid! It was possible after some dialogue to get a vegan pasta, very basic and it was ok. Not a clear vegan menu.

If you are looking for a place to have an incredible dinner, look no further.
The food is incredibly delicious! The meal I ordered looked bet basic but the combination of arugula, grilled beef and spaghetti noodles were so flavorful. Each flavor complementing the other so well.
Each person with me said their food was full of dominant flavors that left them speechless.
The only suggestion for them would be to have at least one menu in English. We made it through with technology to translate the menu.
The service was quick and friendly. Even though she didn't know very much English, she was very patient and did an incredible job helping us figure out what we wanted!
Definitely in my top 20 of restaurants, worldwide!

I love Peppone. They have great, delicious food and an authentic, interesting place. It's my favourite Italian restaurant in Bordeaux, also because of their museum- like cave! The choices of wine in the cave are great, too. Definitely recommend Peppone to all the Italian food lovers ??????????

We stopped in while touring Bordeaux on a Saturday and we were able to get a table and it was just so fantastic. We ordered 2 salads and they were beyond delicious. Our server asked me if I wanted to see the “Cave”, well she took me down into an amazing wine cellar. Beautifully designed space with bottles of wine artistically placed and decorated with saints and candle lit. What a lovely experience. If you eat here do go tour the Cave. The Italian food here is renowned by the locals and the portions are huge. You don’t want to miss this great restaurant.
