Very nice staff, good food. Kids friendly. Superb location. What could you ask more after a windy walk on the beach. There is a playground for kids, very smart. Don't think twice if you are hungry with hungry kids:-)

We had an excellent lunch on a busy sunny Sunday. Our waiter was a very nice friendly guy, happy to use English to help with our poor language skills. Service was very efficient given how busy the place was, food & drinks were very nice. We will certainly return.

I cannot understand the low rating for this restaurant? The degustation de La mer is excellent value, washed down with a very reasonably priced Pouilly Fume. You can enjoy all this and still have plenty of time to check in for the overnight ferry to Portsmouth. I can’t think of a better way of finishing a European holiday!

Have used this restaurant several times while waiting for the evening ferry to Portsmouth. Very good service despite this time them being really busy. It is very popular locally as there was a big queue for people who hadn’t booked. The food is excellent and well presented. I can’t fault it.

I cannot fault the food that I enjoyed during my visit, the mussels were truly delicious. My only criticism would be the service. The restaurant was very quiet, and all of the waiting staff were huddled up at the bar talking. It was extremely difficult to attract their attention when I required another drink.
